Chipotle Chili Lime Salsa



Chipotle Chili Lime Salsa


Ingredients:



  • 2.5 cups roma tomatoes, chopped (about 5-6 tomatoes)
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced (1 small onion)
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced (about 1/4 pepper)
  • 2.5 Tablespoons jalapenos, finely diced   (about 1-2 peppers) *remove seeds if you don't want it really hot!
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, grated (about 4 cloves)
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chipotle chili powder (also may be called ancho chili powder)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • juice of 1 lime

Instructions:


1. Put all ingredients in blender and use chop setting to blend to
desired consistency. This will not be a chunky salsa.
